How this website handles your information.
Your Protection Map
- We ask only for what your Protection Map needs.
- No phone number.
- Buying a Protection Map does not sign you up for marketing. That is a separate choice, and it is never pre-ticked.
- Buying a Protection Map does not make you an insurance lead. No one calls you.
- Your map is yours to download and keep.
- You can change or remove the information you gave us about your household at any time.
- You can close your account.
If you ask for help closing a gap from your Protection Map, you choose whether to share your results with us; if you don’t, we receive only what you asked for, your questions and your email address, and we reply by email.
If you choose Share results with my financial planner, we email your Protection Map report (PDF) to the planner you name. We keep their name and email address with your account, and delete them when you close your account. If you choose Share my results with FRP, we email the same report to Financial Risk Partners. Your results go only to the people you choose.
What we keep, and for how long
When you close your account. We delete your information right away. Encrypted backup copies are kept for up to 30 days to protect against data loss, then deleted automatically.
Your maps. We keep your latest Protection Map and the one before it, so you can see what changed. A map you start but don’t finish is deleted after 30 days without activity — or after 8 hours if you never signed in.
Payment records. After you close your account, we keep a basic record of your payments (amounts and dates, and a record that you agreed to your plan’s terms — no name, answers or map) for 7 years, because tax rules require businesses to keep sales records. Then it is deleted automatically.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe keeps records of your payments as required by law and its own policies, even after you close your account with us. See Stripe’s privacy policy. Questions about your payment records? Start a Conversation and we’ll help.
Bot protection
Our sign-in, purchase and Start a Conversation forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is sending the form. To make that check, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details about your browser and connection. Cloudflare states this is used to detect and block bots, not to identify, profile or target anyone. It never receives your Protection Map answers or results. Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy terms.
Analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising tags to understand visits and measure our advertising. They never load on Protection Map assessment screens.
When they are on, they receive the pages you visit on our public site and a few high-level events — viewing the Protection Map page, starting checkout, completing a purchase (with the price), and sending us an enquiry. They never receive your Protection Map answers, results, financial or health information, or what you type into a form.
You can turn them off at any time with Turn off tracking at the bottom of every page or the button below. Your choice is saved in this browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn them off.
